Protocol for Suspected Cases of COVID-19

PARENTS/GUARDIANS
As we gear up to start hybrid next week we ask that you please be diligent in assessing your student's health before you send them to school. In order to open, we must follow DOH guidelines for school which include sending a student home with signs of illness. If a student is sent home during the day we will need you to pick them as soon as possible.
Watch for Fever, cough, chills, muscle pain/body aches, headaches, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion or drainage (runny nose), vomiting or diarrhea
If your student shows any sign of the above symptoms they will be sent home.
The above symptoms do overlap with other illnesses as we know but to prevent another potential shutdown by public health we have to follow these guidelines to stay open.
Please remember we are following the guidelines and BE KIND to our staff that have to call if your student is ill. We know these have been frustrating times. If your student is sent home you will be given instructions for how long out of school, etc.
