Students traveled to the District Office to link via TV and computer to the Cincinnati Zoo's distrance learning department. We could see and hear Ms. Diane, and she could see and hear us. |

The lesson, "Nobody Likes Me", showed students animals that don't receive as much attention in the zoos as other animals, such as snakes, frogs & toads, and bats. Students saw close-up features of the animals that can make the animal more loveable or, at the least, more appreciated. |
|
Ms. Diane asked the students questions to check on their understanding. In return, the students could ask questions of Ms. Diane. |

Parents were invited to come along with us to the zoo as we were the first classroom explorers using the new teleconferencing equipment to find new learning opportunities beyond our school. |
