Early Learning Project

Early Learning Project

Dear Parents of Young Children,

Tonasket School District invites you to join us at a meeting with leaders in the community on February 4, 2020.

The district is involved in an Early Learning Project and is bringing together stakeholders to engage in a learning and growing opportunity to dialogue around the challenges of service delivery to rural children birth to age 5. Tonasket School District recognizes the importance of ensuring that young children and their families thrive and that child well-being and thriving communities go hand in hand. We are seeking this opportunity to discuss and share approaches in creating and/or enhancing partnerships to promote learning and development through the early years from birth to age 5 based on local interest and local need.

The meeting will be an open community meeting to explore potential partnerships to collectively mitigate the rural early learning opportunity gap through:

• Equitable early learning opportunities
• Innovative strategies
• Inclusive approaches to services

This meeting is intended to provide you with information that will stimulate thinking about potential partnerships which could collectively mitigate the rural early learning gap.

WHEN: February 4, 2020
TIME: 6:00 p.m.
WHERE: School District Board Room

Please RSVP by January 30 to Janet Glanzer by calling 509-486-2126 ext. 3 or email: [email protected]

Sincerely,

Steve McCullough, Superintendent
